India wrapped up the World Archery Para Series in Nove Mesto, Czechia, with ten medals — five gold, three silver and two bronze — capped by an all-Indian final in the women's para recurve.
That final saw Bhawna edge Pooja Jatyan in a shoot-off for gold, with Jatyan taking silver in a contest that guaranteed India the top two steps of the podium before an arrow was shot.
The mixed teams delivered two more titles on the closing days. Sheetal Devi and Shyam Sundar Swami won the compound mixed-team gold, beating Indonesia 147–143 in the final, while Bhawna returned with Paralympic champion Harvinder Singh to take the recurve mixed-team title, also against Indonesia, 6–2.
A ten-medal haul at a Para Series event reflects how much depth India's para archery programme has built in a short span — across both bow types and in team as well as individual formats.
Para archery is a growing priority for the Punjab Archery Association.
