India named a refreshed 16-member squad for Stage 3 of the Archery World Cup season in Antalya, Türkiye (9–14 June 2026), blending established internationals with two World Cup debutants.
Recurve men: Dhiraj Bommadevara, Atanu Das, Yashdeep Bhoge, Neeraj Chauhan.
Recurve women: Deepika Kumari, Ankita Bhakat, Kumkum Mohod, Kirti Sharma.
Compound men: Rishabh Yadav, Sahil Jadhav, Kushal Dalal, T. Ganesh Mani Ratnam.
Compound women: Jyothi Surekha Vennam, Punjab's Parneet Kaur, Chikitha Taniparthi, Prithika Pradeep.
Kirti Sharma and T. Ganesh Mani Ratnam were in line for World Cup debuts. The selection also carried a subplot: veterans Deepika Kumari and Atanu Das, left out of the Asian Games squad, headed to Antalya chasing medals and qualification points for the World Cup Final, as did compound star Abhishek Verma.
India arrived at Stage 3 with three medals from the season's first two stages — including women's team titles in both recurve and compound — and Sahil Jadhav's individual compound bronze from Shanghai.
Squad announcements like this one are worth studying for everyone in the state pathway: the mix of debutants and Olympians shows selectors rewarding current scoring form, exactly the standard Punjab's archers should train toward at state ranking events.
